Fossil, Razer and Skagen unveil new Wear OS smartwatches with Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chip

Fossil has partnered with Razer to unveil a limited edition Gen 6 watch with Wear OS at CES 2022. From original it features a gaming brand logo, an additional bright green strap and a range of exclusive watch faces.

The rest of the watch is identical to the base Fossil Gen 6 model. They have the same Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chip, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a 1.28-inch round AMOLED display with a pixel density of 326 ppi and a 3 ATM waterproof case.

There is a function of receiving calls from a smartphone, sensors for tracking physical activity, monitoring sleep and heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO2) and more. Supported Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC. Fast make-up allows you to replenish 80% of the charge in half an hour.

The watch is powered by Wear OS 2, but should receive a new third version of the system later this year. developed by together with Samsung. The Razer X Fossil Gen 6 will be limited edition. All of them

will release 1337 pieces. The watch can be purchased for $ 329 (≈25,400 rubles).

Skagen falster gen 6

The Danish brand Skagen, part of the Fossil Group, has unveiled the Falster Gen 6 watch. They are similar in design to the model. Falster 3which was presented in 2020. They have a similar outwardly metal case 42 mm, but a little more thickness - 11.5 mm. The strap can be stainless steel mesh, silicone or leather.

Like the Razer watch, the Falster Gen 6 comes with the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chip and Wear OS 2 with the promised upgrade to Wear OS 3. Speaker and microphone allow you to receive calls from your smartphone. Bluetooth 5.0 LE is used for connection. There is GPS for navigation and NFC for contactless payments. Autonomy is not declared, but support for fast charging is indicated - in 30 minutes by 80%.

The Skagen Falster Gen 6 will cost $ 295 (≈22,800 rubles). Sales will begin this month.
