Google TV automatically calibrates HDR when connected to PS5 and optimizes sound based on the position of the viewer.
Sony has announced the Bravia XR A95K TV at the CES 2022 Consumer Electronics Show. It is the first model with a QD-OLED (Organic Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode) display. The panel is manufactured by Samsung Display and is available in 65 "and 55" sizes with 4K resolution at 120Hz.
QD-OLED delivers the crisp, high-contrast images you would expect from OLEDs, as well as the increased brightness and color gamut that quantum dot technology is responsible for.
The built-in Cognitive Processor XR constantly analyzes the picture and improves it, making the picture more realistic. XR OLED Contrast Pro automatically adjusts brightness and black depth, while XR Clarity sharpens 4K images.
For moving objects, XR Motion intelligent processing is applied. When connected to a PS5 console, automatic HDR calibration is enabled. The TV is working on the platform Google tv.
The speakers are built right into the display. The manufacturer guarantees surround sound when watching any content. A separately purchased camera, which is mounted on top of the TV, will optimize the sound and brightness of the picture depending on the position of the viewer in the room.
Bravia XR A95K also features a Dual Style Hybrid Stand - a stand that can be placed in front of the TV or behind. In the first case, the TV can be pressed against the wall. This is facilitated by the unusual back cover with hidden cable channels. It is also worth mentioning the presence of four HDMI ports, two of which are 2.1.
The verge notesthat models with QD-OLED matrices can become something between a standard OLED TV and MicroLED displays, which so far are sold only by Samsung, and for a lot of money. True, the price of the Bravia XR A95K is still unknown, it will be announced later this year.
