I think that the present separately Seth Godin's not worth it, because this man is known to all, whose life is connected to the Internet, business and marketing.
In an interview for the Open Forum, he talks about the seven sins of marketing, which make virtually all entrepreneurs.
1. Impatience. Big marketing requires a lot of time. Haste in the end is worth 10 times more expensive and more time consuming than thorough approach.
2. Selfishness. We make a choice. And if we feel that this product is more for you, not for us, we will choose somewhere else.
3. Egocentricity. You do not buy at home, others buy from you. Others do not care about your business and your problems are almost the same as you.
4. Deceptiveness. See above on "selfish." If you do not tell us the truth, it is probably because you are selfish. How urgent is your need, if you are willing to sacrifice the future in order to get something now?
5. Inconsistent. We do not always careful, but when we turn our attention, it helps us determine how your voice is similar to that which we have heard for the last time.
6. Anger.Us? Why are you angry with us? It is not at all a part of what we want to be.
7. Envy.Because someone does it better than you? Of course there are such people. There is always someone who does something better than you. But if you let your jealousy affect your product, your relationship or your story, we'll leave up to you.
Of course, this is not marketing sins. This human disadvantages.
Restraint, sympathy, generosity, generosity and kindness combined with brilliant innovator presumption is a powerful alternative.
