Developers Revealed 5 Improvements In Android 13

Multilingual, notification requests, Bluetooth LE Audio support and more.
XDA Portal shared the first details about Android 13 (Tiramisu) due to be announced next year. The source of the information was a developer with access to a very early build of the system. Here are 5 possible changes to the OS.
Change language for applications
In the current version of Android, the language is selected for all system functions and applications. If you choose Russian, then all new programs will be loaded with a Russian-language interface, if it is provided there. In Android 13, the language can be changed for each application separately.
This can be convenient for those who are fluent in several languages and would like to translate a number of programs into a language other than the system language.
Permission for notifications
Google has long been trying to solve the problem of oversupply of notifications in Android. In the latest versions of the OS, different priorities for notifications and their grouping by channels were introduced, and then a function of completely disabling notifications appeared. However, even it did not help to get rid of the heap of spam and useless "pop-ups", since many users simply do not use it.
With Android 13, Google has decided to take the disabling of notifications to the next level by asking for permissions for each new app. Probably, this will be implemented in the same way as the system now asks about access to the camera, memory and microphones. That is, the user will not be able to miss this moment.
TARE: Android Resource Economy
With Android 13, Google is expected to lay the foundations for a feature called TARE, which is short for The Android Resource Economy. This "economy" will be the new energy management system on the device.
In fact, TARE will operate on the basis of a conditional "currency", which is tied to the battery level of the device. The system will assign credits to applications depending on how discharged the battery is, and then applications can use these credits as "payment" for the ability to execute tasks.
This will allow Google to set limits on the number of tasks depending on the battery level and the needs of the applications. In theory, this should have a positive effect on the autonomy of gadgets.
Bluetooth LE Audio support
Recently appeared on the Web data that Android 13 will finally have full support for the Bluetooth LE Audio standard (not to be confused with Bluetooth Low Energy). It provides sound transmission with minimal power consumption and, thanks to the new LC3 codec, guarantees better sound quality than standard SBC.
In addition to improving sound while reducing power consumption, Bluetooth LE Audio makes it easy to connect one pair of earbuds to multiple devices at the same time to quickly switch between sources. And besides, with it it will be possible to broadcast a streaming signal to a variety of receivers.
Lock screen clock settings
The lock screen clock can be set to always appear as a single line at the top of the display. Now they change to this form only when notifications appear, and without them, a large two-line clock is displayed in the center.
So far, all this is only a first look at the early build of the system, which will still be refined, changing the set of functions and capabilities. Most likely, some official details will appear only closer to the summer of 2022, and before that we will have a lot of leaks.
