The Main Radio Frequency Center (GRCHTs), subordinate to Roskomnadzor, proposed checking the content of video games using artificial intelligence (AI). He must help find prohibited information, including scripts and stories with child pornography, calls to commit suicide and drug use. Writes about this “Kommersant».

The head of the STC GRCHTs Alexander Fedotov explained that today modern games with deep thought-out universes have their own mythology, history, folklore and book works, and studying such content can spend hundreds or thousands of hours, which for a person hard. The neural network should cope with this task better.

It is assumed that the AI ​​will go through all levels of the game on its own, communicate with all the characters and eventually create a full report on the presence of potentially dangerous or illegal content. In this case, the algorithm can only act as a recommendation service, while the decision on each sign of a violation must be made by a person.

According to experts, the introduction of such neural networks can create real problems for developers and lead to a restriction of the availability of games or platforms in Russia.
