How to listen to a voice message on WhatsApp before sending
Miscellaneous / / December 15, 2021
This is easy to do, but not entirely obvious.
The WhatsApp messenger has a new useful feature for those who often record voice messages. You can now listen to the recording before sending it - and overwrite it if necessary.
To do this, while recording, hold down the microphone icon and slide your finger up. This will enable hands-free recording mode. When finished speaking, click on the "Stop" button. It won't send the message automatically like it used to. Instead, three buttons will appear on the screen: listen, delete, and send.
The function is gradually being rolled out to all users of the app on iOS and Android. If it is not yet available to you, you may have to wait a few days. It's also worth checking if you have the latest version of the app installed.
