Xiaomi has learned to increase the capacity of batteries without changing their size

Xiaomi has announced a new breakthrough in the development of batteries for mobile devices. Fresh development of the company allows increase the battery capacity by 10% without changing its physical dimensions.

This technology is the first to use the addition of lithium and a 3-fold increase in the silicon content, as well as the alignment of the control board. The latter has always been connected to the top of the battery, but now it is fixed at a 90% angle, which significantly saves space inside the case.

In addition to this, the new batteries will be equipped with a special microcircuit for increased safety and control of recharging at night. It will allow you to monitor the degradation of batteries and increase their service life, as well as control heating.

Mass production of such batteries will begin in the second half of 2022. Accordingly, the devices planned for next winter may well receive new high-capacity batteries.
