A real find for everyone who does not have enough space for open pages.
Even on a large monitor, not so many tabs fit as we would like. There is no need to talk about laptops at all. If you often work with a large number of open sites at the same time and they always do not fit on the screen, then definitely appreciate the free Tabius extension for Google Chrome.
It completely transforms the panel tabs, making it more compact and clear. At the same time, the logic of work also changes: pages are automatically combined into groups and highlighted in different colors. They can be collapsed and expanded on click to save space without losing sight of.
By default, stacks are stacked starting with the first open tab, and are automatically named by its name. Although in the settings, if desired, you can set sorting by domain, as well as specify the principle by which group names will be assigned.
To manage them, use the context menu by clicking the right mouse button. There you can change the color and name, expand the stack, or move it to a new window.
Tabs to move between groups are easy to drag and drop. You can also use the standard right-click menu, where after installation enlargement new items will appear.
When many groups have accumulated, it will be convenient to manage them from the Tabius drop-down menu. From here, you can collapse, expand and close both individual and all stacks. And clicking the Block Site button will prevent the creation of groups for the site from the active tab.
The settings allow you to add rules for specific resources - it is possible to assign a fixed short name and color. Here you can also change the method of grouping and naming, a limit on the total number of stacks and a list of domains for which you have prohibited the creation of groups.
Although Tabius can be used by leaving everything at its default. And even in this case, the extension will make working with the browser much more convenient and pleasant.
