Users voted the best game of the year in The Game Awards 2021

The Eighth Annual The Game Awards Celebrating Achievement in the Industry computer games, starts on the night of December 9-10, but the winner of the user vote is already known. Best Gamers Game named new Halo Infinite, the full launch of which took place just the other day.

This shooter got 35% of the votes, which is a lot considering the presence of 4 other nominees. Among them:

• Metroid Dread - 22%
• It Takes Two - 17%
• Resident Evil Village - 15%
• Forza Horizon 5 - 11%

This award is the only one at The Game Awards that is awarded based on the results of a user vote. In all others, the opinion of an authoritative jury, which includes representatives of the largest gaming media and leading industry experts, plays a key role.

The following are claiming the title "Game of the Year" in 2021:

• Deathloop
• It Takes Two
• Metroid dread
• Psychonauts 2
• Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
• Resident evil village

The winner will be announced tomorrow, December 10th.
