We consider the "Vampires of the Middle Lane" project of the START streaming service to be the best domestic TV series of 2021.
The plot takes place in Smolensk, where a clan of bloodsuckers has lived for many decades. Their leader Svyatoslav Vernidubovich (Yuri Stoyanov) once made peace with the Guardians. And now vampires live quietly, not killing people, but only taking a small amount of their blood. But one day, several people are found dead, and suspicion falls on the youngest member of the family, Zhenya (Gleb Kalyuzhny). All heroes can be punished if they do not find a real villain.
The series perfectly combines several genres. First of all "Middle lane vampires"- an excellent comedy in the spirit of" Real Ghouls ". Grandfather Slava, performed by Stoyanov, gives out one aphorism after another, and I immediately want to disassemble his swear words into quotes.
In addition, the project offers a good detective story. Vampire Anna (Ekaterina Kuznetsova) works in the police and, together with her metropolitan colleague, is trying to find the killer. In parallel, she has to hide the true state of affairs from other workers.
But most importantly, the "Vampires of the Middle Lane" in the likeness of the famous "The Addams Families»Show the most unusual family, whose members take care of each other. Heroes can swear endlessly, but in fact they are always ready to help in a difficult situation.
