Metacritic has compiled a preliminary rating of the best TV series of 2021

Metacritic Review Aggregator made up preliminary rating of the main series of the outgoing year. It is compiled from the lists of the best shows published by leading publications: TIME, The New York Times, Variety, IndieWire, Vanity Fair, Esquire and others.

At the time of this writing, Metacritic editors have reviewed TV series ratings from 16 major resources. For the first place in any of the lists, the series was awarded 3 points, for the second - 2 points, for positions from 3 to 10 - 1 point, and for getting into the top 20 - 0.5 points.

According to the amount, the Metacritic rating is formed. Now there are 13 projects in it. HBO's Descendants ranked first with 20 points, while Tricksters followed just 14. The "Underground Railroad" is still a little behind.
