Introduced the Roidmi EVA robot vacuum cleaner, which washes under pressure and changes the water itself

Roidmi, part of the Xiaomi ecosystem, has unveiled its new EVA robot vacuum cleaner - the best in the entire line. It offers the maximum of possibilities without any compromise.

The key feature of Roidmi EVA is its self-cleaning function. And it's not only about moving garbage from the vacuum cleaner to the base station bag, like Roidmi EVE Plus, but also about changing the water for washing the floor, and about cleaning the mop brushes - everything happens automatically.

For this, the base station has three departments:

• one with a tank for clean water of 3 liters, which is poured into the vacuum cleaner as needed;
• the second with a bag for collecting dust, which does not have to be changed for 60 days;
• and a third container for dirty water generated when cleaning the brushes after washing the floor.

When washing the brushes themselves, and there are two of them, even drying is provided to prevent the appearance of mold and unpleasant odors. The robot can leave for cleaning during the cleaning process if it realizes that the brushes are clogged, and then it will continue washing where it left off.

The base station has a color display with indicators of running processes, filling a bag with garbage, the presence of water, and so on. You can also monitor this using the application on your smartphone, and you can start cleaning with voice commands through the connected Alexa and Google Assistant.

The robot can work in three modes: dust suction, floor cleaning and combined cleaning. In the latter case, Roidmi EVA will turn off the water supply when moving to the carpet and turn it back on on the laminate or tile. Moreover, when washing the floor, the brushes are not only moistened and rotated, but also exert pressure on the surface, which allows even dried stains to be wiped off.

As for the simple dust suction power, it is practically a record for robotic vacuum cleaners - 3,200 Pa. According to the manufacturer, this is enough even to suck pet hair from carpets. For comparison, the similar flagship model Roborock S7 + has a capacity of only 2,500 Pa.

All this is complemented by the 360 ​​° omnidirectional navigation system LDS, which allows the robot not only to quickly build a map of the room, but also to navigate in space even in the dark. For one charge Roidmi EVA can perform cleaning of an area of ​​up to 200 square meters.
