Valve is working on Half-Life 3 again
Miscellaneous / / November 29, 2021
After a successful release Half-Life: Alyx fans of the series have renewed hopes that Half-Life 3 will see the light of day. And Valve is really working on a new part. About it reported in a new video Tyler McVicker, a well-known Valve insider.
He also noted that at the moment a very small team is working on the project. Almost all of Valve's attention is now devoted to the Steam Deck and other projects, and the company lacks resources to develop Half-Life 3. Moreover, according to McVeeker, management may well shut down the project entirely as having no value.
It is widely known that Valve gives employees relative creative freedom, allowing them to work on what they find interesting. And this is not the first time that work on Half-Life 3 begins, but earlier such projects were canceled for one reason or another. It is not yet clear if the new attempt will lead to the release of the long-awaited sequel - perhaps we will hear more about the game if its development is not closed again.
