1. Society

A group of teenagers find themselves in a copy of their city, only there are no adults here. At first, the guys are delighted with the newfound freedom. But the euphoria quickly passes when they realize that they cannot get out of the village. Soon, a power struggle begins between groups of young people, which escalates into violence.
Inspired by William Golding's Lord of the Flies, the show keeps you on your toes with unexpected plot twists. But after the first season, the show was closed: the production of the project was interrupted by a pandemic and conflicts in the actors' schedule.
2. How to Become a God in Central Florida

After the death of her husband, Crystal is left with a baby in her arms and boring work in the water park. The heroine dreams of breaking out of a beggarly existence, and one day she gets such a chance. But the path to success runs through the financial pyramid, which once already once ruined a woman's family.
The main role in this absurd black comedy in the style of "Fargo" was played by the Hollywood star Kirsten Dunst. The series was supposed to receive a second season, but that didn't happen. The reason is still the same - the pandemic, due to which many good projects were closed.
3. Stumptown

Former military intelligence officer Dex Pario is trying to pay off huge gambling debts. Once the owner of an Indian casino, to whom the heroine owes a lot of money, asks to find the missing granddaughter. Then Dex goes to study in order to obtain a license as a private detective, and begins to cleverly solve other people's problems.
The project turned out to be incredibly charming thanks to actress Cobie Smulders, known to the wide audience for the sitcom How I Met Your Mother and the role of Maria Hill in the Marvel Universe. The series even managed to be extended for a second season. But the pandemic again made its own adjustments, and ABC had to abandon the production of the show.
4. I do not like it!
I Am Not Okay with This

Schoolgirl Sydney moves with her mother and younger brother to a small town in Pennsylvania. She really misses her father, who suddenly committed suicide. In addition, she has to deal with the challenges of school life, puberty and strange abilitiessuddenly awakened inside her.
The project "It doesn't suit me!" (or, as it is called in other translations, "I Don't Like It") is based on the comic book of the same name by Charles S. Forsman. But fans will never see the continuation of the adaptation.
Showrunner Jonathan Entwistle told‘I Am Not Okay With This’ cocreator explains why Netflix canceled the show even though it was supposed to run for 2 seasons / Insiderthat although viewers received the series warmly, Netflix decided to close it due to the pandemic and difficult filming conditions. 5. Shine

Unemployed actress Ruth Wilder, out of lack of money, decides to get a job on a television show about female wrestling. Before filming begins, there is very little time to master all the necessary techniques and come up with a vivid image for yourself. Problems are also added by the fact that the heroine managed to sleep with her best friend's husband, and she was among the rivals. Gradually, their conflict becomes the main highlight of the show.
The series' narrative is partly based on real events, and jokes in it are harmoniously combined with dramatic scenes. Thanks to this, "Blesk" received favorable reviews from critics and won the hearts of the audience.
But due to the pandemic, the show still had to be closed. The fact is that it had too many crowd scenes, and security measures would increase the budget to cosmic amounts that even could not afford. Netflix.
The most annoying thing is that there is an open final in the third season. And the audience will definitely not see the continuation of the story.
6. Hannibal

Gifted profiler Will Graham is trying to find another maniac. Psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter is appointed as his partner. But he secretly commits sophisticated murders and prepares amazing dishes from his victims.
The NBC series tells the backstory of the characters in the iconic Thomas Harris novel series. Mads Mikkelsen, who played Lecter, created no less memorable character than Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of the Lambs. The famous maniac performed by the Danish actor came out stylish, aristocratic, attractive and at the same time incredibly cruel.
But despite critical and fan acclaim, the series was canceled after its third season due to low ratings on the channel. This means that the audience will not know the fate of the heroes, because the show has an open end.
7. Hooligans and nerds

The action takes place in the early 1980s near Detroit. An excellent student Lindsay falls in love with the charming bully Daniel. Meanwhile, her younger brother Sam, who is a crammer in the company, is trying to change his school life for the better.
Project Judd Apatow - creator of "The Forty Years Old Virgin" and "Pineapple Express" - lasted only one season. The blame for the failure largely lay with the compilers of the broadcast network, who constantly put the show at the worst possible time.
But this did not prevent the series from becoming a cult and firmly entrenched among the best shows about school and teenagers. In many ways, thanks to the brilliant actors for this, among whom were the young Seth Rogen, James Franco and Jason Siegel.
8. Firefly

In the distant future, power on Earth as a result of a civil war is given to two superpowers - the United States and China. Veteran Malcolm Reynolds, who fought for the losing side, finds himself on the sidelines of life. He now travels in the Firefly-class Serenity spacecraft with his motley crew. The heroes are engaged in cargo transportation and smuggling, often getting involved in questionable stories.
The idea for this space western belongs to Joss Whedon, a cult figure for geek community, the creator of the cinematic universe "Avengers". The audience immediately fell in love with the Serenity crew and enjoyed following the heroes' adventures. However, the management of the Fox television channel, without explaining anything, abruptly closed the project even before the end of the broadcast of the first season.
Worst of all, the show didn't even get a coherent ending. Since then, fans have tried many times to get a sequel going. But all they got was the feature-length Serenity Mission, which ended the broken storyline. The tape could have been the impetus for restarting "Firefly", but failed at the box office. After that, all hopes for the revival of the legendary show finally collapsed.
