The Ministry of Health launches "Sputnik M" - a vaccine for adolescents 12-17 years old

The Ministry of Health of Russia today will register the Sputnik M covid vaccine for adolescents aged 12-17 years. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, writes RIA News".
According to her, adolescents up to 14 years old inclusive will be vaccinated with parental consent, and from 15 years old their own consent will be enough. The Sputnik M vaccine may go into civilian circulation as early as the end of December.
Sputnik V version for teens started test it back in February. According to the results of the first two phases of tests, N.F. Gamalei decided to administer only 1/5 of the adult dose to minors. November 11 was announced the beginning of the third phase of clinical trials.
Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister proposed to develop a vaccine for children from 2 years of age.
Golikova also noted that a new epidemic rise is expected in Russia, which is already being observed in other countries.
