Why is the Karcher FC 7 Cordless Premium electric mop good? We check on personal experience

I live in a small two-room apartment with a young man and three cats. And when I was offered to test a new electric mop FC 7 Cordless Premium from Karcher, I agreed without hesitation. The thing is that I'm a little confused about the cleanliness of the house: I start sneezing from the dust a thousand times in a row, and any garbage on the dark laminate immediately catches the eye and infuriates - infuriates - infuriates. Therefore, I often clean the apartment, and in general I love this activity - it helps to unload my head. But I don't like it at all when I have to constantly take a wet rag in my hands, carry a heavy bucket of water with me and also make sure that the cats do not bathe in it. 1. Work without refueling

The manufacturer claims that the battery charge and the clean water tank will last for 45 minutes of device operation. During this time, you can remove about 135 sq. m. The area of ​​my apartment is much more modest - only 50 square meters. m., so during the experiment I did not try to discharge the battery completely or empty the tank with clean water. I just charged the device, poured the recommended amount of water and went to wash all the floors in the apartment.

It took me about 20 minutes to wet clean two rooms, a hallway, a kitchen and a bathroom at a calm pace. The tank was half empty, but the battery charge indicator showed all the same three divisions as at the beginning. This means that it will definitely be enough to clean a much more spacious apartment. And before the next cleaning of the floor, you don't have to charge!

2. "Carpet" made of wool

When three cats live at home, a "carpet" of thick wool on the floor appears by itself. To prevent this from happening, I usually walk with a broom around the apartment twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. But for the sake of experiment, I did not do this for three days. By the end of the third day, I even thought about felting wool toys.

Electric mop Karcher replaces not only a doormat, but also an electric broom. Therefore, before washing the floor, I did not sweep or vacuum. I just poured water with a universal detergent into the tank and went into battle. The rotating rollers scooped up all the wool from the floor without any problem, and so did my hair. The floor is as clean as if I swept it before cleaning. The collected wool ended up in a tank with dirty water, and the hair was in a special filter.

3. Duel with a regular mop

It is not so easy to assess the quality of washing the floor by eye, so for this experiment I used a "complicator" - I scattered a couple of tablespoons of fine table salt on the floor. One "slide" had to be removed with an ordinary mop, and the second - with a Karcher electric mop. The main condition is to swipe across the floor just once.

An ordinary mop did not show a decent result: most of the salt remained on the floor, and had to be removed with a broom. But the electric mop did an excellent job. After that, I did not find even small particles of salt on the floor. 4. Laminate in Sauce: Revenge Duel

We have already found out that an ordinary mop cannot cope with solid debris without the help of a broom. It remains to find out how things are with other pollution. In the second round of the duel, I stained the laminate with mayonnaise. The sauce is greasy, so I added the branded detergent that comes with the kit to the water for a regular mop, and turned on the Boost mode for the electric mop for stubborn dirt. Otherwise, the conditions of the experiment remained the same - you need to remove all the sauce from the floor in one movement of the mop. And this must be done as quickly as possible, before the cats have time to eat the mayonnaise.

The revenge did not work out. The regular mop is a loser again! After it, there was a "mayonnaise path" all over the floor. But FC 7 Cordless Premium did not have such a problem: the floor is clean, without any trace of sauce or streaks.

5. Corners and space under the bed

There are not many hard-to-reach places in my apartment: cabinets, a kitchen set and a sofa are right on the floor. But there is a space under the bed and a lot of corners: on these I decided to test the electric mop.

Within a minute and a half, not a trace of water remained on the laminate. But the check must be thorough and comprehensive, so I walked across the floor in new white socks - and they remained as clean and dry as before the experiment!

7. No dirty water splashes

The electric mop coped with its main tasks perfectly. There is one more important step left - to clean the device itself. A regular mop must be thoroughly washed, then poured out a bucket of dirty water, trying not to spill the contents on the clean floor - in general, there is enough trouble. WITH FC 7 Cordless Premium everything is much simpler: it has a self-cleaning function. You need to pour clean water into the tank, put the mop in the special tray that comes with the kit, and press one button - then the device will do everything by itself in 2 minutes.

All that remains is to drain the water from the dirty water container, remove hair from the filter with a special brush and look at the rollers - if they are heavily soiled, you can wash at temperatures up to 60 degrees in the washing machine car. But in my case, the standard cleaning procedure was enough. By the way, it is convenient to store the mop between cleaning - it is compact and does not take up much space. For example, for me it fits perfectly into the space between the closet and the wall.

The test showed that the electric mop FC 7 Cordless Premium from Karcher is a great tool for everyone who does not like to spend a lot of time and effort on wet cleaning, but at the same time keeps the house clean. Its main advantages are:

• removes even stubborn dirt - with the Boost function, you can remove the most stubborn stains;

• cleans the floor even in hard-to-reach places - thanks to the movable handle and comfortable head shape;
• does not stain the floor with dirty water - if the tank is full during the cleaning process, the device will beep, and the corresponding indicator on the handle will light up;
• easy to clean - the mop takes over all the dirty work, and if it gets very dirty, the tanks can be washed in the dishwasher, and the brushes can be washed in the washing machine;
