Thanks to AI algorithms, you can create cool videos for social networks and not only with just a few taps.
Video editing apps are always perceived as complicated and confusing, but Cooclip for iPhone and iPad breaks that stereotype. The new editor is positioned as a tool for Generation Z, which is used to doing everything quickly and easily. This is how the app works.
After creating a new project, you can add content from the device memory or the built-in gallery to it media, where there are different blanks with funny animals, meme characters, screensavers, backgrounds and much others.
Tools are interacted with through the panel at the bottom of the screen, below the artboard, where they are categorized into understandable categories. Various editing operations are available on the Edit tab: trim and rotate video, extract audio, adding still frames, adjusting transparency and speed, as well as masks, beautification and animation of the frame.
One of the coolest features is Cutout, or background removal. AI will automatically cut out a moving object or character from one video and place it on another. You can choose which part to remove and adjust the duration of the clip.
There are many different filters grouped by subject, as well as adjustments for brightness, contrast, sharpness and other parameters of the video. You can apply them not to the entire video, but to individual fragments, or change the settings smoothly using key points.
It's easy to change the background if you want: just choose from a variety of animated templates. Various effects and transitions are also available.
The built-in gallery contains tons of themed music for free to use. It is possible to attach audio comments, apply effects to them, or add subtitles.
When the video is ready, to export, just click Done and select the parameters: resolution, bit rate and frame rate. The approximate file size is displayed immediately. Pressing the Done button again will start rendering, during which you cannot lock the screen and minimize the application. When ready, the video can be immediately published on social networks or saved to the device's memory.
Cooclip is free to use: the app does not contain ads and does not add water marks. That being said, there is a paid subscription that unlocks 4K export and optional additional content in the built-in media library.
