The Simpsons Producer Reveals The Perfect Ending

But there are at least two more seasons ahead of us.
In an interview with Digital Spy, The Simpsons Executive Producer Al Jean toldthat he already has an idea for the final episode of the animated series.
He would like the Simpsons to go to the episode 1 Christmas concert at the end, which would loop the plot and the animated series, in fact, would never end. He added:
I just thought how wonderful it would be if the whole show never had an ending. In animation, viewers don't want the characters to grow old and old. You want them to always be the same, and Bugs Bunny never changes. So I thought it would be a great ending to the show.

However, one should not expect that this scenario will be embodied in the series in the near future: recently "The Simpsons" was extended for at least 2 more seasons after the 33rd, which started in September. Jin also confirmed that the task of thinking over the ending before the creators is not yet worth it, so the idea of a ring structure is nothing more than his reflections on the future of the series.
