And in "Google Sheets" keyboard shortcuts will work.
On the official Google blog appeared information about three innovations that will appear in the services of the search giant for iOS in the near future.
Gmail widget
For iOS, a home screen widget will become available, which is already in Android. It allows you to view the latest messages and their sender. For comparison, the current version of the widget has a button for creating a new message and a search bar by mail, and also shows the number of unread letters.
Picture-in-Picture in Google Meet
Google Meet recently introduced the ability to minimize video to a small window so that you can forward an email or view a document without leaving the meeting. A similar feature will appear in Google Meet for Gmail in a few weeks.
Keyboard shortcuts in Google Sheets
IOS and iPadOS will add support for keyboard shortcuts when connected to a Bluetooth keyboard or Magic Keyboard case. This feature is, of course, aimed primarily at iPad users, but it will also be available for the iPhone.
