Users complain about Pixel 6 Pro display issue

Last week went on sale Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro from google. The first users note that the older model has a display defect: when you lightly press the power button, green stripes appear on the screen off. In the comments under fasting on Reddit showing the problem, other owners of the new smartphone confirm its presence.

On the official Google Pixel support website appeared dedicated page. It is noted that Pixel 6 Pro users "may notice small temporary artifacts on the display when the device is off when the power button is not pressed hard enough to turn it on."

Technical support emphasizes that this does not indicate a problem with the hardware of the device, and users are advised to press the button with sufficient force and hold it until the smartphone is turned on. A patch to fix this bug will be released in December with another Pixel update.

However, this problem, although common, is not serious - in contrast to the error encountered by the developer Mark Schramm. He posted a video on his Twitter account of the Pixel 6 Pro accidentally having a second hole for the front camera.

Schram was lucky: the store immediately agreed to replace the defective smartphone. But Google clearly needs to improve its quality control, because such stories accompany almost every release of technology from the search giant.
