Dune is going to fight for 14 Oscars

So far, this is not even a short list, but the plans are grandiose, to match the film itself.
Warner Bros. going to promote "Dune"In 14 nominations for" Oscar "and other film awards. About it it says on the official website of the film company.
Dune can claim the following awards:
- "Best movie"
- Best Director
- Best Adapted Screenplay
- Best Actor
- Best Supporting Actor
- Best Supporting Actress
- Best Cinematography
- "Best Editing"
- "Best Production Designer"
- Best Costume Design
- "The best makeup and hair"
- "Best Special Effects"
- "Best Sound"
- Best Soundtrack
In the nomination for the best actor, of course, Timothy Chalamet (Paul Atreides) was nominated, but in the list of supporting actresses there are four positions at once: Zendea (Chani), Rebecca Ferguson (Lady Jessica), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Dr. Liet-Kynes) and Charlotte Rampling (Reverend Mother Bene Gesserite).
Best Supporting Actor nominees and even more: Oscar Isaac (Leto Atreides), Josh Brolin (Garney Halleck), Jason Momoa (Duncan Idaho), Stellan Skarsgard (Vladimir Harkonnen), Javier Bardem (Stilgar), Dave Batista (Glossu Rabban), Chan Chen (Dr. Yue) and Stephen Henderson (Sufir Hawat).
So far, all these are just applications for nominations from Warner Bros.. For a film or actors to compete for an Oscar, they will need to be shortlisted by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. It will be drafted in the coming months, and the ceremony itself is scheduled for March 27, 2022.
Recall that recently there was confirmed a sequel to Dunes, which may begin filming next fall.
