Preparing for Halloween: Costume book "DIY"
Tips / / December 19, 2019
On the night of October 31 to November 1 is celebrated holiday of Halloween, which is rooted in the traditions of the ancient Celts. Though the ancient holiday and absolutely not Slavic, we gladly took over from Western culture (as well as February 14). This is another reason to get together with friends and have some fun in full force. A sort of extra bias in Carnival with horror.
A bit of history of the holiday:
Halloween (Eng. Halloween, All Hallows 'Eve, or All Saints' Eve) - a holiday that has its roots in the traditions of the ancient Celts, whose history began in the lands of modern Britain and northern France; celebrated on the night of 31 October to 1 November. Also referred to as "Halloween." Traditionally celebrated in English-speaking countries, although the official holiday or a public holiday is not.
Where did the pumpkin?
One of the main attributes of a holiday is a "jack-o'-lantern" (eng. jack-o'-lantern) in the form of a head of a carved pumpkin illuminated.
The appearance of this symbol is most often associated with an Irish legend about a man named Jack, an old farmer, gamblers and spirits. He has twice cheated the devil, but did not get any paradise after death - because of his vicious life, or hell - because the devil still lives with Jack vowed not to take his soul. He was doomed to wander the world with a pumpkin head with embers inside her.
And as this year is also a Sunday, then we will walk it in full! And in order, it was released a little to meet him head-on book-collection with a variety of costumes that you can make with your own hands. The book is in English and has been collected creators service Instructables. Many things from the book can be made just by the pictures - there is a very detailed photo instructions. I often take out the material for some of their ideas and find it very interesting resource.
In addition to this book on the resource, you can find a lot of interesting ideas for the decor and dishes for this "terrible holiday".
The book was created in ePub format, which is great to read on a variety of e-readers, and is essential for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch)! And here here great selection of tools to read this remarkable format.
