Thing of the day: X-boat Pro headphones that can be removed from the case without the help of a second hand
Miscellaneous / / October 29, 2021
Very lightweight, with active noise cancellation and LDAC codec.
At the Kickstarter crowdfunding, the X-boat Pro headphones were presented, the main feature of which was a completely open case. To be more precise, it cannot be called a case - it is, rather, a charging dock.
Headphones are inserted into such a dock from different ends and are attracted to the center by means of a magnet. This unusual design allows the earbuds to be removed with a single finger motion and immediately inserted into the ear without using a second hand. The station itself is made of aluminum with anti-reflective glass, which does not leave fingerprints.
The earbuds weigh only 3.9 grams. At the same time, they have sufficiently large 13-mm dynamic drivers inside, as well as a special chip for the active noise reduction and energy optimization. The X-boat Pro works for 5 hours without make-up, and up to 40 hours if charged.
X-boat Pro smartphones are connected via Bluetooth 5.2. There is support for AAC, SBC and more codecs high-level LDAC, which allows you to transfer 3 times more data, providing better quality wireless sound.
You can buy the X-boat Pro directly on Kickstarter, where they currently stand 99 dollars (≈7,000 rubles) - this is with free worldwide shipping. A choice of options in black, green and silver.
