Marinated fish in African style turns out to be especially tasty, because it is first fried, and then left in a fragrant marinade for a day.
Cut the fish into medium-sized pieces, salt.
Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the cod for a few minutes on each side to brown and cook. Place on a plate.
Cut the onion into rings or halves. Fry in the same skillet until soft.
Add black and allspice peas, lavrushka, halved chili, vinegar and water.
Bring to a boil. Add sugar and cook, stirring occasionally, until it dissolves. Season with cumin, coriander, curry and turmeric.
Lay the fish in a deep bowl and pour over the sauce. Cool completely, cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
