Perfect Custard Donuts

Airy donuts with the most delicate custard, sprinkled with a thin layer of powdered sugar. It's impossible to resist this dessert.

Ingredients
- Chicken yolks 6 pieces
- Brown sugar 100 g
- Flour 2 tbsp. spoons
- Milk 500 ml
- Vanilla extract 1 tsp spoon
- Flour 450 g
- Cornstarch 2 tbsp spoons
- Sugar 70 g
- Salt 1 tsp spoon
- Fast-acting yeast 1 tsp spoon
- Eggs 2 pieces
- Milk 170-200 ml
- Butter 45 g
- Vegetable oil 1 l
- Powdered sugar to taste
Cooking method
Whisk the yolks with sugar until smooth. Add flour and stir again.
Combine milk with vanilla and heat to 50-60 ° С. Pour into the yolks in a thin stream, stirring constantly.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan. Boil the cream over low heat, stirring continuously, for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
Wipe the cream through a sieve, cover with cling film in contact and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
Sift flour and combine with starch, sugar, salt and yeast. Beat eggs with a whisk with warm milk until smooth.
Pour the egg mass into the dry ingredients, knead to a smooth and slightly sticky dough.
Cut the softened butter into cubes and mix thoroughly into the dough.
Roll it into a ball, place in a large bowl, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
When the dough has doubled, crinkle and divide into 12-15 equal parts. Roll them into even balls.
Cover the blanks with foil and leave in a warm place for 50-60 minutes. Remove the film and let it rest for another 15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet. Fry the donuts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer to paper towels and cool slightly. Make a deep, narrow hole on the side of each donut.
Put the cooled cream in a pastry bag. Fill the donuts with cream and roll in the powdered sugar.
