New MacBook Pro will get 120Hz miniLED displays and 16GB of RAM in base version

Several insiders have shared new details about the upcoming MacBook Pro. First source reportedthat the laptops will be equipped with miniLED screens with a diagonal of 14 and 16 inches. Their refresh rate can reach 120 Hz, which is twice the usual 60 Hz. Panel suppliers are LG Display and Sharp.
Another insider confirmed Apple's use of miniLED technology and added that the display bezels will become narrower, and the familiar MacBook inscription on the bottom will disappear. Here are some more interesting details:
- The webcam will be improved with 1080p resolution for the first time.
- The base models will have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
- The M1X chip will have the same configuration in both models.
- A new power adapter for charging will be included.
- Laptops will get an HDMI connector, an SD card slot and a MagSafe port.
- There will be no Touch Bar versions.
That said, the price gap between the new MacBook models with 14 and 16 "screens will be much smaller than between the current versions with 13 and 16" displays.
Laptops are expected to be introduced already 18 october at Apple's second fall presentation.
