October 12 major TV series: The Heirs, You, and Lock and Key Return

1. Cleaning woman. The story of a single mother

The drama series is based on the New York Times bestselling memoir by Stephanie Land. It is interesting that the main role will be played by Margaret Qualley, and Andy McDowell, the real mother of the actress, will appear in the image of her mother.

Jules Verne's famous novel has been repeatedly screened. In 2021, a full-length cartoon was released, in which the main characters were replaced by anthropomorphic animals. But the new series attracts at least the leading role. Phileas Fogg will be played by David Tennant, whom everyone knows from “Doctor Who"And" Jessica Jones ".
3. Chucky

An introverted schoolboy from a small town buys a funny one at a garage sale dollwho soon becomes his best friend. At the same time, brutal murders begin to take place in the town, because the new friend of the hero is none other than the villain Chucky.
After the failure of its feature-length reboot, the Killer Doll franchise is back to basics in Kids Games. The script for the series was written by Don Mancini, who worked on all the classic films, and here the audience will again be shown the familiar image of Chucky.

Dr. Samuel Finnix learns of a global conspiracy of pharmaceutical companies to add opioid pain relievers to patients. The hero is trying to figure out how large and dangerous this problem is.
The project from famed director Barry Levinson is based on Beth Macy's book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors and the Drug Company. The plot will cover both the problems of ordinary patients and the activities of corporations and the Drug Enforcement Administration. And the main role will be played Michael Keaton.
5. Day of the dead

In a small town begins the zombie apocalypse. Six heroes not familiar with each other are forced to unite in order to escape from the crowds of the living dead.
The new series is based on the 1985 film of the same name, directed by George Romero, who once popularized zombies in movies. Moreover, in 2008, a low-budget full-length remake of the film was already released, but it is considered unsuccessful.

Several teenagers have an accident while celebrating a prom. A year later, a mysterious killer begins to pursue them. He claims to know the terrible secret they are hiding.
Another teenage horror is being relaunched as a series, as it was, for example, with "Scream". The original film was released in 1997, after which two less successful sequels were shot. But the new version should surprise even connoisseurs of the first tape.
7. Invasion

A massive invasion is taking place across the earth aliens. From an aging sheriff and a soldier serving in Afghanistan to a Syrian refugee in the United States, the series follows a vast array of characters struggling to survive an attack.
One of the sources of inspiration, the authors of the series call the novel by H.G. Wells "The War of the Worlds." But this is not a film adaptation of the classics, but a separate story. Among the authors of the project, Simon Kinberg, the screenwriter of the X-Men franchise, was lit up.

This series was invented by Joseph Gilgan, who himself played the main role. It was co-authored by one of the British scriptwriters "Shamednikov"- Daniel Blockhurst. Particularly interesting in the project is how Vinnie's behavior changes at different stages of bipolar disorder.
2. Sinner

Detective Harry Ambrose unravels all sorts of complicated cases. In the first season, he understood the reasons that prompted a woman to kill her husband. In the second, he investigated the poisoning, and in the third, a mysterious car accident.
In the sequel, the hero will witness the disappearance of the daughter of wealthy parents with islands. Many believe that she drowned, but the body was never found.

Every time Joe Goldberg finds himself a new sweetheart, he starts obsessively chase the girl. A jealous person hacks into her correspondence, tries to seize control over life, and at the same time get rid of people he dislikes from the environment of the lady of the heart. But Joe himself considers his actions to be manifestations of a deep and strong feeling.
After the finale of the second season, serious changes will take place in the hero's life. Judging by the trailer, he'll even have a baby.
4. Heirs

Elderly Logan Roy runs the international media conglomerate Waystar Royco. He will have to retire and transfer command to one of the heirs. But all relatives begin to weave intrigues, or even enter into open confrontation with each other.
In two seasons, "Descendants" became one of the most popular HBO series, won two "Golden Globes", Several" Emmy "and many other awards. In the continuation of the project will be joined by such stars as Adrian Brody and Alexander Skarsgard.
5. Lock and key

After the death of her husband, Nina Lok moved with her three children to the family house. There they hope to start a new life, forgetting about the tragedies of the past. But it turns out that the mansion has many magic doors that can be opened with special keys.
Based on the Joe Hill comic strip of the same name, the series turned out to be much softer than the original source. That did not stop the project from winning the love of the audience. And fans need not worry: "Lock and Key" in advance extended and for the third season.
