Apple released iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and watchOS 8. What's new

Apple released the operating systems iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and watchOS 8. All owners of compatible smartphones, tablets and smart watches can download and install updates. Let us recall the main changes in these versions.

iOS 15

• In iOS, you can now change the focus status ("Work", "Sleep", "Rest", etc.). For each of them, you can configure how notifications work and the list of available applications.
• Action Center has a new Notification Overview mode that brings together the essentials of what you might have missed in a condensed form.
• The standard "Phone" application now supports the Spatial Audio surround sound technology, which creates the effect of being present during calls.
• Now you can create links to FaceTime calls and send them to other users so they can join.
• Articles and audio tracks sent to you via iMessage are now automatically sent to the News and Apple Music apps, respectively - so you don't forget to watch them when you have there will be time.
• The "Live Text" function has been added, which allows you to copy text when you point the camera at it. You can immediately call the number from the photographed business card or send the text of the presentation from the slide by e-mail.

• The weather app has changed a lot. The data in it is now more detailed and visual.

iPadOS 15

• IPadOS 15 introduces an updated home screen with the ability to place widgets anywhere.

IPadOS 15 can be installed on all tablets starting with the iPad 5th generation, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 4.

watchOS 8

• The watch will now be able to measure the rate of breathing and the number of breaths per night, and will also help to carry out breathing exercises. The Breathing app itself has been greatly improved with new animations.
• There is a new dial that uses a photo. It will allow you to select a portrait for the background, which can be enlarged by scrolling the Digital Crown wheel.
• There was an updated application "Photos" with the output of pictures from "Memories", and also added the ability to share photos with your contacts.
• The watch has learned to register a fall during sports and call for help.
• Added simplified message sending with the ability to dictate text and add emoji.
• You can now control the headphone volume in the Apple Watch Control Center.
