The icon and interface have been redesigned in accordance with the overall design of Windows 11, and a dark mode has also been added. The app will be able to install extensions from the Microsoft Store. In addition, we improved the image cropping mode and redesigned the tool menu for easier access.
Even for users of the beta version, the update is being rolled out gradually: "Photo" has not been updated yet for everyone. It is not yet clear if it will be included in the final build of the system.
The free upgrade to Windows 11 starts on October 5 for compatible Windows 10 computers and will be rolled out gradually. Not all functions will be available at launch: for example, support for Android applications has been postponed until 2022.
