These include ExpressVPN, Nord VPN, and IPVanish.
Roskomnadzor has restricted six popular VPN services in Russia: Hola! VPN, ExpressVPN, KeepSolid VPN Unlimited, Nord VPN, Speedify VPN and IPVanish VPN. They followed VyprVPN and Opera VPN, which are accessed in the country blocked in June. All of them were found to be in violation of Russian legislation in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of February 12, No. 127. This is reported on the official website departments.
The use of blocking bypass services leads to the preservation of access to prohibited information and resources, creates conditions for illegal activities, including those related to the distribution of drugs, child pornography, extremism and incitement to suicide.

To prevent disruptions in the work of companies that do not violate Russian law and use VPN services for technological purposes, whitelists have been formed to prevent them blocking. RKN says it received communications from 64 industry organizations and provided over 100 IP addresses to exclude listed companies from access restriction policies.
In August became known about the possible blocking of four more services: Psiphon, Tunnelbear, Thunder and Redshield.
