Oven baked apples with oatmeal and cinnamon

These apples, baked in the oven, look spectacular, turn out to be incredibly tasty and aromatic. Serve with ice cream and a cup of your favorite drink.

Ingredients
- Large apples 2 pieces
- Butter 2¹⁄₂ tbsp spoons + for lubrication
- Brown sugar 4 tbsp spoons
- Ground cinnamon 1 tsp spoon
- Oat flakes 3 tbsp. spoons
- Flour 2 tsp spoons
- Salt ¹⁄₄ tsp spoons
- Ice cream to taste
- Chocolate to taste
Cooking method
Peel the apples. Cut in half and remove cores.

Make many cross cuts on each half without cutting through the fruit completely.
For security, you can attach wooden sticks to the two long sides of the apple. Thanks to them, you will not be able to cut through the fruit.
Grease a baking dish and place the apples, cut side up.
Mix 1 tablespoon of melted butter, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and half of the cinnamon. Brush fruits with this mixture.
Cover the tin with foil. Place in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 25-30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
Let the apples cool slightly for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the remaining sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, cereal, flour, and salt.
Carefully peel open the cut apple pieces. Spread the oatmeal on top of them.
Place in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
Garnish the fruit with a scoop of ice cream and grated chocolate when serving.
