Microsoft has announced the release date of Windows 11
Miscellaneous / / August 31, 2021
Microsoft is officially announcedthat the stable version Windows 11 will be released on October 5th. On this day, compatible computers on Windows 10 will begin receiving a free update, and devices with pre-installed Windows 11 will be available in stores.
However, one of the features announced at the presentation will not be available on release. Android Apps in Windows 11 and the Microsoft Store will appear in the "coming months" for members of the Windows Insider program, while the timing of their appearance in the standard version of the OS has not yet been disclosed.
The update will be released in waves, and on October 5, it will not be available to everyone. Microsoft plans to update compatible devices (the list of which is not much the other day expanded) by mid-2022.
