IPhone 12 Front Speaker Replacement Program

Apple launched International iPhone 12 Repair Program that do not play sound during calls (both incoming and outgoing) due to speaker issue. These devices can be repaired free of charge at Apple Authorized Service Centers.

A small number of 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are showing the problem. The affected devices were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021.

The support page notes that the program operates worldwide, but service may be limited to the region purchases (in other words, there is no guarantee that a smartphone bought in France will agree to be repaired in Russia - and vice versa).

The program will be valid for 2 years after the first sale of the device and does not extend the original warranty period. It is also noted that if the iPhone has damage that could interfere with the repair (for example, a broken display), they will need to be repaired before the free speaker replacement.
