Windows 11 will still run on older computers

When Microsoft announced system requirements new Windows 11, it turned out that many users of relatively new computers were left behind - and the owners of old hardware were unlucky even more so. Fortunately, the company has now confirmed that it is possible to install Windows 11 from an ISO file even on computers that do not support over-the-air updates.
Image beta Windows 11 can already be downloaded from the official Microsoft website, and with the release of the system, the current stable version should also appear there. For the sake of nostalgia, you can even make a bootable CD.
However, not every user is familiar with the clean installation process, and backing up data can take several hours. Moreover, The Verge leads Microsoft's official comment that the company advises against using this method because computers updated in this way may not receive system, security, and even drivers.
Parallel Microsoft expanded the list of compatible processors, adding the 7th generation models to it:
- Intel Core X and Xeon W series
- Intel Core 7820HQ (some computers that shipped with modern drivers DCH)
The list of AMD models has not been expanded. But they announced a new version of the PC Health Check utility, which will demonstrate the reason why the device does not support Windows 11. It will be available to Windows 10 users in the next couple of weeks.
