"Music on VKontakte" will have an offline mode

VKontakte has officially announced the possibility of offline listening to music in the application for subscribers to Music VKontakte, VK Combo and BOOM. Tracks can be downloaded to the device directly through the mobile application and played back at any time, even without a network connection.

Also exclusive to subscribers will be the ability to play in the background and when the screen is locked. For users without a subscription, it will no longer be available (currently there is a limit of no more than 30 minutes per day). These changes will take effect on August 30th.

At the same time, the free "Music VKontakte" mode will remain: it will be possible to listen to an unlimited number of tracks per day both in the mobile and in the desktop version. But the application on a smartphone or tablet must be kept constantly open, and without a subscription, you will have to listen to ads.

Now the service has a special price for new users VK Combo: the first six months of the subscription will cost 75 rubles per month instead of the usual 169 rubles.
