Focus on camera: new data on iPhone 13 improvements

Now video enthusiasts will need much more memory.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg informsthat the upcoming 2021 iPhones will have a number of new camera features that will be appreciated by those who often shoot videos. One of the important innovations is the ProRes format, which is analogous to ProRaw, but for video.
ProRes will allow users to record videos in higher quality and offer more editing options. This format can only be made available for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The second innovation is the portrait mode for video, which will blur the background behind the main subject in real time. For photos, this mode became available with the iPhone 7 Plus, and now it can be used for videos as well.
In addition, Apple plans to introduce a more advanced iteration of the standard photo filters. For example, instead of applying one filter to the entire photo, future iPhones will only be able to apply changes to selected objects and people in the photo. Artificial intelligence will help with this.
Gourmet also confirmed that future iPhones will have a faster A15 chip, smaller screen notch and new display technology that will provide a higher refresh rate of the screen, up to 120 Hz. For iPhone 13 Pro models, Apple may also add an Always on Display mode.
The announcement of the new iPhones is expected next month.
