Pickled overripe cucumbers for the winter

Overripe cucumbers, harvested for the winter according to this recipe, will turn out to be very mouth-watering, with a delicious garlic aroma.

Ingredients
- Overripe cucumbers 2 kg
- Dill umbrellas 3 pieces
- Garlic 3-4 cloves
- Salt 2 tbsp. spoons
- Sugar 125 g
- Vegetable oil 150 ml
- Vinegar 9% 100 ml
- Black peppercorns 5-7 pieces
Cooking method
Cut the cucumbers into slices and place in a bowl.
Cut the seeds from the dill umbrellas. Pass the garlic through a press.
Add to cucumbers along with salt, sugar, oil and vinegar. Stir and add peppercorns. Leave the cucumbers for 5 hours.

Divide vegetables into sterilized 2,500 ml jars and top with marinade from a bowl. Cover with lids.
If the marinade doesn't fill the jars all the way to the top, add more oil.

Place the cucumber jars in a saucepan lined with a tissue or towel.
Pour enough water into the pot so that it doesn't reach the top of the cans. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
