Motorola unveils 144Hz Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro smartphones

The flagship model should soon appear in Russia.
Motorola has announced the new Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro smartphones. They have different hardware and one of the cameras, but identical screens are 6.7-inch 10-bit OLED panels with 2520 × 1080 pixels, 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + and color space support DCI-P3.

This model received a case with flat metal edges. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh and supports 30W charging via USB Type-C.
The main camera includes 108 megapixel (f / 1.9), 16 megapixel (121º) and 8 megapixel (3x zoom) sensors. For selfies - a 32 megapixel camera with support for video recording in 4K UHD format. There is 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro
The Pro version received slightly more rounded ends and much more powerful stuffing: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, up to 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 256 GB of internal memory (UFS 3.1). A 4 500 mAh battery with 30 W charging is responsible for autonomy.
At the heart of the camera is the same 108-megapixel sensor, supplemented by a 16-megapixel wide-angle module. But instead of the usual telephoto camera with 3x zoom, there is now an 8 megapixel periscope with support for 5x optical zoom and 50x digital. In terms of communications, everything is identical.
Both smartphones received IP52 waterproof and dustproof cases and run on Android 11. The Motorola Edge 20 will start at 499 euros (≈43,400 rubles), and the Motorola Edge 20 Pro will start at 699 euros (≈60,800 rubles). The flagship model should soon appear on the Russian market.
