Google has released a proprietary application for fast data recovery from Android and iOS. Its functionality was previously built into the system - the program was automatically activated when setting up a new Android smartphone and offered to transfer data from the old gadget via the cloud or cable. Now it is a separate tool.

Bringing this tool out to a standalone application may be just the beginning of expanding its capabilities. This was confirmed by decompilation, which spent 9to5Google portal. With its help, it was possible to find hints in the code of the imminent appearance of the function of transferring WhatsApp chats from iOS to Android. It can be launched by scanning the QR code on the iPhone or through the settings.
