Easter bread with colored eggs

Soft, airy and unusually tasty Easter bread with colored eggs is popular in Italy and Greece. You will also appreciate its taste.

Ingredients
- Milk 240 ml
- Dry fast-acting yeast 2½ tsp spoons
- Sugar 100 g + 1 tsp. a spoon
- Flour 540 g
- Salt ½ tsp spoons
- Eggs 3 pieces
- Butter 120 g
- Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. a spoon
- Colored eggs 3 pieces
Cooking method
Mix warm milk with yeast and a teaspoon of sugar. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
Combine the remaining sugar with flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and two eggs, beat with a mixer on low speed.
Continue whisking on medium speed and add a tablespoon of softened butter at a time. You will have a soft dough.
Place the dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with plastic wrap and leave warm for an hour and a half.
Divide the dough into three pieces and form each into a rope about 40 cm long. Weave the bundles together.
Transfer the blank to a parchment-lined baking sheet and pin the ends together to form a ring.
Place a few colored eggs on top of the dough, lightly oiled on the side where they come into contact with the dough.
Spread the beaten egg on top of the bread.
Bake the Easter bread at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes.
