There are also new details about the entry-level iPad and AirPods 3.
Portal 9to5Mac learnedthat the new iPad mini, codenamed J310, will be powered by Apple's latest A15 processor, which will also be on the iPhone 13. It will use the same 5nm process as the A14, but it will be more energy efficient.
Also, iPad mini will receive a magnetic connector for connecting a proprietary Magic Keyboard and a port USB-C that will make your tablet compatible with a wide variety of other accessories and peripherals devices.
The device should be presented at the end of this year. It is expected that the new mini will receive a screen with a diagonal of 8.5-9 inches and will have thin bezels, like the current iPad Air model.
9to5Mac also writes that Apple is preparing to release a new version of the entry-level iPad, codenamed J181 and an A13 chip inside. The current entry-level 10.2-inch iPad is powered by the A12 Bionic processor, so this is a significant leap in performance for Apple's most affordable tablet. Previous rumors have also indicated that the entry-level iPad will be similar to the iPad Air 3 that was introduced in 2019.
Here we note the new gossip regarding AirPods 3. According to a report from Nikkei Asia, mass production of these headphones will begin in August. They could be unveiled alongside the iPhone 13 lineup in September or MacBook Pro laptops.
The third generation AirPods will have a design similar to the AirPods Pro, but with shorter legs and possibly silicone tips.
