Instagram has launched an inappropriate content filter

Now the recommendation feed will contain fewer materials that you find unpleasant.
The Instagram blog appeared publication about the launch of the new "Filter inappropriate content" feature. It has already become available to users with the update of the mobile application.
This filter will control which photos and videos you see in the recommendations section. It may restrict the display of offensive or inappropriate content. Moreover, such content can fully satisfy the rules of the site, but be unpleasant for a specific user.
For example, it can be publications with sexual connotations, scenes of violence, information about weapons or even drugs.
To enable the filter, go to "Settings", then to the "Account" section and select "Filter inappropriate content". The options "Limit" and "Limit more content" will be available to choose from. The second will allow you to more thoroughly filter posts in your feed.
If these settings are not yet available to you, wait for the Instagram app update to be released.
