Netflix Announces The Witcher Season 2 Release Date

On July 9, as part of the first day of WitcherCon, Netflix announced the December 17 release date for The Witcher Season 2.
As part of the stream, the creators also noted that the second season will mostly be devoted to the relationship between Geralt and Ciri. The heroes will visit the Kaer Morhen fortress, where Ciri will be taught witchcraft.
New characters of the series were also mentioned, including the witchers Vesemir (Kim Bodnia) and Lambert (Paul Bullion), head of Redan intelligence Dijkstra (Graeme McTavish) and abbess of the temple Melitele Nenneke (Ajoa Ando).
Joey Baty's Dandelion will also return, as will Yennefer of Vengerberg, played by Anya Chalotra.
In total, there will be 8 episodes in the second season, the names of which have also been revealed:
