Mozilla has ended support for Firefox Lite

The application will not be available for download now.
Mozilla officially stopped support the Firefox Lite mobile browser starting June 30, 2021. The developers claim that Lite was dropped because the updated Firefox is fast enough to meet the needs of users, and for those looking for something lighter and more private, there is Firefox Focus.
Firefox Lite appeared in 2017 - albeit under the name Firefox Rocket and was originally exclusive to Indonesia. The name was explained by the fact that the application had to work quickly, while consuming a minimum of traffic. Then the app got the Lite prefix and international release and was popular among users with limited traffic and weak smartphones and tablets.
But by 2020, the browser has disappointed many. Ads appeared in the application (both in notifications and on the start screen), then the developers added the travel function - which not only worked poorly, but also went against the main promise of this application: only the bare essentials and nothing superfluous.
Although the ability to download the application was removed from Google Play, users who have it installed can continue to use this browser - but it will not receive updates. In addition, after deleting it from the device, it will no longer be possible to download it again.
