IPhone 13 comes with improved wireless charging
Miscellaneous / / July 31, 2021
And a long-awaited feature that many Android flagships have.
Starting with the iPhone X and iPhone 8 released in 2017, all Apple smartphones are equipped with wireless charging. It is not the fastest (especially when compared to some of the Android flagships), but it is gradually improving. The main innovation for 2020 is the MagSafe magnetic mount, which increases maximum charging speed.
Now, as stated in the new video from YouTube channel EverythingApplePro with reference to the famous insider Max Weinbach, Apple is ready to once again improve wireless charging in its smartphones. In particular, the charging coil will get bigger. This will help improve heat dissipation, increase charging power, and likely introduce reverse charging so that your smartphone can power your AirPods, another accessory, or even a second iPhone.
In the same video, the author, citing renowned analyst Min-chi Kuo, notes that the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will use an improved ultra-wide-angle autofocus camera module. Also, the new camera will shoot better in the dark and will receive more advanced image stabilization for the same ultra-wide-angle camera - which may appear in the iPhone 14 next year (yes, three cameras in the base model).
But the iPhone 14 mini is almost guaranteed not to happen, although a 5.4-inch model will be available in the 2021 generation.
