Stuffed carp. The main dish on the festive table

Baked carp stuffed with onions, carrots and lemon turns out to be incredibly tasty. This fish is best served with a vegetable side dish.

Ingredients
- Carp 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Fish spices to taste
- Onions 1-2 pieces
- Carrots 1 piece
- Lemon 1 piece
- Vegetable oil 100-120 ml
Cooking method
Clean the carp, gut and remove the gills. Rinse under running water.
Season with salt, pepper and spice inside and out.
Cut the onion into halves of the rings, carrots into thin slices. Season with salt and pepper.
Cut a few slices from the lemon. Squeeze the juice out of the remaining citrus and pour over the inside and outside of the fish.
Stuff the carp with onions and carrots, place the squeezed lemon inside. Leave at room temperature for 20-25 minutes.
Make cross cuts on one side of the fish and insert lemon slices into them.
Place the carp on a baking sheet or in a greased baking dish, top with oil. Cover with foil.

Bake for about 40-50 minutes at 200 ° C.
Times may vary depending on the size of the fish.
Use a spatula to gently transfer the carp to the platter. Serve immediately.
