Enthusiast has created a "breathing" PC without coolers

But he also has a significant drawback.
Blogger Matt Perks from YouTube channel DIY Perks, known for unusual crafts and inventions, showed in a new video the process of creating a "breathing" PC with a unique cooling system without a single cooler.
Cooling is carried out by moving the double-layer acrylic bar: it works on the same principle as the bellows, forcing air as it moves from side to side. It is set in motion by magnets, silently moving along an acrylic tube filled with liquid.
By passing water through the tube using a system of pumps, the system drives the magnets. They, in turn, move the bellows, forcing air up from the case, cooling the computer components. The 'Mechs move one movement per second, so it looks like the system is breathing.
The results are impressive. When running the assembly with the 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and Zotac RTX 3080, the processor did not heat above 60 ° C, and the video card did not heat above 62 ° C. This proves that Matt's design really works - and remains virtually silent.
The main disadvantage of such a computer is its size. Only its cooling system is larger than a computer with an eATX board, while the components themselves, such as the video card and processor, are located on top. There is not enough space under every table for such a machine - and even if the creator manages to reduce its size, it is not a fact that this will not affect efficiency.
Seemingly quiet and effective solutions that seem to have come out of sci-fi movies are not yet ready to be widely adopted. But this is the first step towards creating alternative cooling systems.
