Each of us has happened is this: turning off or restarting the Mac, you are faced with the fact that any application (often Safari and Transmission) interrupts the computer shutdown. I always unnerving, and I began to look for a solution. And I found right under his nose: it turns out, Automator can one-click once to turn off all applications. And here's how to do it.
To one-click to turn off all of the applications in the system, you need to follow these simple steps:
- Open Automator
- From the Home screen, select the "Process"
- In the left column, locate the "Utilities"
- In the right column, find the "End all programs"
- Drag this option in the operating field on the right
- Press Cmd-S and save the resulting script
Basically, the script is ready, there are only a couple of nuances. For example, if you want to Automator does not close all programs, then add exceptions by clicking "Add the current program" in the work area.
Also, by default the system asks you whether to save the changes. If you want as quickly as possible (but at the risk of losing data) to close everything, then uncheck "Prompt to save changes" at the top of the workspace.
The resulting script will lie there, where you saved it. By double-clicking it will close all running applications and save you a lot of nerve cells.
