The soy sauce marinade makes grilled tofu delicious, and if you add liquid smoke, it tastes a lot more flavorful. Try it!
Wrap the tofu in a paper towel. Place on a plate and press down with something flat and heavy. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
Slice the tofu into rectangles about 13mm thick.
Do not make the pieces too thin, or they may break during baking.
Mix all other ingredients. Place the tofu in a container, top with the marinade, cover and marinate for several hours or overnight.
It is advisable to turn the pieces over several times during this time so that they are covered evenly.
Grease the grill or grill rack with oil. Fry the tofu on both sides for a few minutes, until golden brown streaks appear.
