However, the function will not be available on all devices.
June 24 Microsoft announced the new Windows 11. One of its main features is support for applications developed for Android. Rumors about it appeared and earlier, but now the company has officially confirmed this and shared the details.
Android apps on Windows 11 will be available in the Amazon Appstore, which is now built into the Microsoft Store, a completely redesigned Windows app store.
The launch of these applications on the Microsoft platform was made possible through close cooperation with Intel and the use of its Intel Bridge technology. The latter provides a seamless user experience, allowing you to launch Android programs directly from the Start menu or from the taskbar. The user will not see any emulators, downloads or extra windows.
However, running Android applications on Windows 11 will only be possible on those devices whose processors support Intel Bridge technology. Plus, it is not yet entirely clear whether applications will be available where the Amazon Appstore is not officially launched, and whether it will be possible to run apk files transferred to the device. Probably, something will become clear after the start of the testing program for the new system.
